Google announces new "GOOGLE TV" platform.

Google TV is a new experience made for television that combines the TV you know and love with the freedom and power of the Internet. Watch an overview video below, sign up for updates, and learn more about how to develop for Google TV.
It is supposed to bring  "the web to your TV and your TV to the web".

 

What actually Google TV is?

Google TV isn't a single product -- it's a platform that will eventually run on many products, from TVs to Blu-ray players to set-top boxes. The platform is based on Android, but instead of the Android browser it runs Google's Chrome browser as well as a full version of Flash Player 10.1. That means Google TV devices can browse to almost any site on the web and play video.It also means that Google TV devices can run almost all Android apps that don't require phone hardware. You'll still need to keep your existing cable or satellite box, however -- most Google TV devices won't actually have any facility for tuning TV at launch, instead relying on your existing gear plugged in over HDMI to do the job.
All Google TV devices will have remotes with some form of QWERTY keyboard, and you'll be able to use Android phones as remotes as well.

HTC eyeing 4G with "HTC Sprint EVO"

HTC is coming up with an amazing smartphone which will be 1st of its kind. Ya its HTC Sprint first WiMax/4G phone.

DoCoMo and Fujistu Split Phone.

DoCoMo and Fujitsu and has come up with a split phone concept , its a phone that can be split into two separate parts i.e screen and keypad each of  which can be operated individually. 
Screen is touch sensitive and is embedded with all required software such as video function, Music, etc.

Keypad is gives you QWERTY key structure, it includes functions for activating radio, 3G, network etc.keypad is also touch sensitive. You can use it with various configurations like attaching keypad to side of screen or at bottom.
The phone has amazing 12 Mega Pixel camera. 
Both the parts i.e Screen n Keypad are linked together through BLUETOOTH technology. 

Suhas Gopinath: World's Youngest CEO.

SUHAS GOPINATH, CEO & PRESIDENT, of GLOBALS INC.(born November 4, 1986 bengluru).

Track Stolen laptops & delete Private data using FIREFOX

FireFound is firefox addon which helps you to track your stolen laptops and delete your Private data. FireFound

FireFound is hands down the best security add-on for Firefox. It is a recently launched add-on which can track the location of your laptop if lost or stolen. It shows you the approximate geolocation along with the WiFi Network it last connected to.

Once the add-on is installed, you will be asked to create a new account with FireFound(requires only username and password). When done, simply head over to the Options and choose to receive notification when the computer is used more than 2 miles(or any number of miles defined by the user) from it’s previous location.

It can delete all data if you activate the Emergency Data Protection mode from the FireFound Dashboard. You can select which data should be deleted from the Options, when this mode is activated.

 

Head over to the FireFound page and hit Login, enter the Username and Password and you will be shown the last known location along with the coordinates, IP address, city name, and WiFi network.

 

All information send or received is encrypted, so there is nothing to worry about the security. You can activate data protection from the main control panel which is located under the My Data tab.

Once you activate the data protection mode, the user who is using the browser will have to provide the password, if the password is wrong, the data which you selected to be deleted will be wiped out.
 
FireFound

The only feature I would love to see is an option to backup the data before wiping it out. Having said that, I believe this add-on is a must for every user who prefer to protect his data. It can also track your mobile since it also works with Fennec(mobile Firefox).

D-ROLL:

D-roll is a next generation concept laptop design which is way distinctive from usual laptops in both shape and function. The long tube shape of this laptop, which was inspired from the storage tubes that artists are using for storing large drawings, eliminates perception of the traditional book looking laptops.

 This multifunctional laptop has two working modes. When it is operating in full function mode, the laptop is unfolded completely and all peripherals are turned on. The main display is turned off and a smaller screen, attached with main body is turned on allowing the users to check and send mails when D-roll is under email mode. VC is a helpful add-on for capturing pictures or videos and Locking System can provide certain security to the laptop.

D-roll is also a foldable design.The flexible screen and the keyboard are able to be rolled up and stored inside the tube. The video camera can be attached to the right end of the tube. And the strap is able to be connected in the middle .It becomes compact and easy for travelling.

1. Detach the flexible screen from the video output slot and roll it up.

 

 

 2. Roll up the flexible Keyboard. Store it in the notch which also works as a standing foot on the back.

3.Insert the flexible screen into the tube. Attach the two parts of strap and lock them together.

 4. Put the mouse on the cap of the end. And then, it is ready to go with you.
